Tomaz Hernandez developed a great passion for music at an early age. He became a mobile DJ in high school in his hometown (Caracas, Venezuela). Later on, he became a drummer, where he expressed himself through different music styles like rock, reggae, and electronic rock.
Tomaz's passion and love for electronic music increased during his regular trips to Miami and New York City in the 1990s. During this time, he got involved in the rave scene in Venezuela, Miami, and the USA. Tomaz appeared as a guest DJ spinning at one of Caracas coolest house and trance music parties on Sunday nights at "Le CLub".
In 2002, Tomaz Hernandez moved permanently to Miami, where he started moving crowds as a professional DJ. Thomas enjoys emulating his love for music from behind the deck to multiply the good vibes on the dancefloor.
Since then, he has had several residencies as a house DJ in clubs in South Beach, Miami Beach, Miami, and all around Florida. Tomaz Hernandez is a very versatile DJ. His vinyl sets include different genres of electronic music, including house, deep house, techno-house minimal, techno, trance, progressive, progressive house, lounge, and ambient. Sets also include breaks, drum and bass, rock, and electronic rock.
Tomaz is passionate about recording vocals and playing guitar. Expect to hear his voice live during his sets, as well as some of Tomaz's own music tracks. As a music producer and composer, Tomaz has written lyrics and produced the songs "Wet Dream (Sueno Erotico)" and "Sex Machine," available on iTunes and other online music stores. DJ and producer friend Luis Beyra remixed both tracks.
Tomaz performed at the greatest Ultra Music Festival, "Tenth Edition," in 2008 and has spun at several parties and events during the Winter Music Conference and Miami Music Week since 2004.
He currently works with a collective of DJs in Miami and is active as one of Miami’s most unique electronic DJs. For many years, Tomaz has held a monthly radio show at South Beach’s famous electronic underground online broadcast radio station, The Wombat."
